HOT MEAL DISTRIBUTION IN THE REGION HIT BY THE EARTHQUAKE
With the support of Swedish Lions, in cooperation with Lions and the Red Crescent, Hot meals were distributed to over 24,000 people by our Lions, in schools, youth centres, markets and villages hit by the disaster

LIONS CONTAINER AND TENT VILLAGE
With the cooperation of Mersin Metropolitan Municipality, the support of Swedish Lions, the efforts of each club and member of Lions Turkey, a TENT CITY in ANTAKYA and CONTAINER CITY in ADIYAMAN have been and are being established.
As a start, a tent village has been built, where a total of 1000 earthquake victims are already staying, in 218 tents, and has become fully active. There are 7 accommodation containers, 1 UN kitchen container, 1 dining hall, 1 large children's play tent, 16 WC, 20 showers, 5 coordination and storage containers and 5 storage tents. Efforts are being made to meet all the needs of our citizens staying in the village.
The work of Lions continues rapidly in the Hatay-Samandağ region. A mobile health tent was set up with six doctors. In cooperation with "Erdbebenhilfe Türkei -Frankfurt-RheinMain Hilft", blankets, diapers and, generators, heaters, and more was delivered and distributed to the people of the region In addition, tents, generators, sleeping bags, mobile toilets, toys, food and clothing is being provided.
