Two great upcoming events in Europe

There are many ways to contribute, for Districts, Clubs, and individual Lions, to contribute to the Campaign 100. On another page, we are presenting two potentially very successful ways our clubs can be part of this once-in-a-lifetime campaign.
On this page we present two exceptional upcomming events.

LCIF Day and
Online Recognition Event

Don't miss these opportunities for your club to be part of a Europe-wide event

Following the success last year of these two events, it was decided to go for another round this year as well. Planning takes time, and it is more fun with a team, so we decided to appoint, for each of these events a steering committee, with members from all over Europe, to plan, to provide support and to build enthusiasm in our clubs.

The LCIF Day will be on June 11, 2022.
If there appears to be a conflict with other already planned events, be it Lions events or other local events, it could be, for some, on a more appropriate day. However, for the sake of giving the largest possible media coverage, we encourage all to plan their activity that day, or as close as possible.
The LCIF Day will be focusing on club events, all over Europe, giving us an exceptional visibility.

The online Recognition Event was initially planned for May 2022. The recent dramatic events have however shifted our focus, to helping victims and refugees from Ukraine, and we decided to focus on the LCIF Day and postpone the Online Recognition Event to early next year. It will however remain, as last year, exclusively on-line, with many great international speakers and success stories from Europe and the world. It will be the opportunity to recognize, important individual donors, new Melvin Jones and Progressive Melvin Jones Fellows, Model Clubs and Important District and MD donations. In the meantie, we encourage all Lions, Clubs and Districts to donate generously before June 2022, in the perspective of being recognised in August or September. A dedicated page, on this website will aready recognize all donations awaiting the opportunity to to it in a more ceremonial way during the ORE.

Our Steering Committees

Planning takes time, and it is more fun with a team so, we decided to appoint, for each of these initiatives, a steering committee. Their tasks are to plan, to provide support and to build enthusiasm in our clubs.

The members of the committees have been selected from Multiple Districts across Europe. Mostly out of the LCIF/C100 Box, but experienced GAT leaders, as the events are about Service, Membership and Leadership. Many thanks to all for your commitment and time.
